I’ve just recently spotted some great shots that our local Cairns photographer Brett Pascoe took recently at Yorkeys Knob.
I think these photos are magic. Brett has succeeded in catching the essence of kiteboarding in these clear sharp images.
A word from Brett Pascoe
I love sports photography and have been taking kite shots now for the last 6 years. I can say that I have no two shots the same and love to take that original shot.
Having moved to Yorkeys Knob, Cairns 2 years ago I am lucky to have the Yorkeys Knob kiteboarding rigging area right outside my kitchen window. This is the perfect spot for taking kiteboarding photos.
Onto the Wall
I’ve got loads of great shots on the computer which I need to get on the wall. The scenario shots are great, but its the action shots that I really like. I’m really keen to get some wave action shots so I will be checking out the Gold Coast at some stage to take some sweet wave action images.
Go Pro is Next
The next step for me to get some wide angle close ups is to get a Go-Pro. that way I can get really close to the action.
