Hi Everyone. The seasons just starting to kick off with some great conditions for learning to kiteboardat Yorkeys Knob. We’ve already had keen students out on the water and they love it! Anyway, this is a bit of a photo blog to give you an idea about kiteboarding Yorkeys style. Great wind, waist deep flat water and professional instruction – the key ingredients for a successful kiteboarding experience. The photos below are a brief snap shot of our student Mark and his experience on the water with us. Mark picked it up very quickly. Everyone learns at their own pace which is what its all about. With some clear guidance, great weather and flat water, Mark was riding in less than 5 hours. Not only that, Mark is now a qualified level 2 IKO rider. He received his international kiteboarding qualification at the end of the course. Mark can take his qualification anywhere in the world with him. Its the key to hiring equipment off most kiteschools world wide. By receiving this qualification, he can feel confident that he has been taught in accordance with international kiteboarding structure. Probably the most important thing for Mark is that he is now riding and an independant kiteboarder. Perfect! So check us out and learn to kiteboard Yorkeys Knob.
